Hamilton Ventura Open Heart Men’s Automatic 34.7mm x 53.5mm Watch
Originally created in 1957 with a quartz movement, the Ventura model decided to go the automatic maccanic route.
The stainless steel case, a full 10 mm thick, features the classic shape of all Ventura models. This one in particular has precise dimensions: 34.7mm x 53.5mm, is water resistant to 5 bar/50 meters, with a transparent case back closed by pressure from 4 screws placed at the corners.
The black dial has the special feature of being able to see the mechanism between 11 and 13 o’clock, which is precisely why the model is called “Open Heart.” The Hamilton logo is located at 6 o’clock along with the inscription “Swiss Made.” Each minute and hour are marked with a steel-colored index, like the hands.
The knurled crown allows time change and is presented with the classic ‘H’ in the company’s name.
The domed sapphire crystal is triangular in shape with two rounded sides.
The strap is black calfskin leather, ending in an adjustable snap closure.
