Silver Raspini

Official Giovanni Raspini Jewellery Dealer

An Arezzo-based company since 1972, Argenteria Giovanni Raspini is a leader in silver jewellery in Italy. Modern, handmade, whimsical but never excessive, the Raspini style charges the wearer with personality and refinement. Moreover, given the countless number of charms, in the most varied shapes and sizes, it offers the possibility of creating and giving original and personalised jewellery.

Giovanni Raspini jewels are made of 925 silver, some of them are gold-plated with galvanic bath. All products are protected from oxidation and surface alterations. Each of our creations is conceived, modelled, manufactured and packaged exclusively in the company, handmade with great care and infinite passion, through the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. This is why each product retains characteristics of uniqueness and small imperfections due to craftsmanship. Each product is completely nickel-free.

Giovanni Raspini creations are born to be worn every day and on all occasions. This is why they require only infrequent extraordinary maintenance, especially if they are handled and cleaned delicately and stored appropriately. Since they are precious objects, however, some simple attentions must be reserved for them, care gestures that preserve their beauty and splendour over time.
Normal daily use and external agents such as air humidity, temperature, level of pollution, contact with cosmetics and skin perspiration can contribute to reducing the brilliance of silver surfaces and changing the original appearance of the surface finish towards darker, duller colours. The extent and speed of the phenomenon cannot be predicted because it depends on a number of factors: to keep it under control, contact of silver jewellery with detergents, creams, perfumes and with water, particularly swimming pool water (chlorine) and thermal spring water (sulphur), should be limited as much as possible; in general, direct contact with any substance containing alcohol should be avoided. It is also a good idea to wipe the surface regularly with a soft cloth, paying attention to the finish of the jewel and any stones.

Lastly, a good habit for preserving jewellery is to store it separately in individual soft and clean bags or cases, in dry places, away from heat sources and in general away from agents that can damage it.
In the case of particularly worn products, it is possible to use non-abrasive products specifically designed and used in jewellery for cleaning. Most of the products on the market for cleaning silver can in fact be used without risk as long as they are used properly, although care should be taken with those containing ammonia, alcohol, acids or chemicals that may be too aggressive.
